Reporting to the Vice President of the AcreTrader investment platform, the Director of Investor Relations is responsible for leading the growth of our investor community and investor participation. This role will also manage a team of associates educating accredited investors on the fundamentals of farmland investing. Instilling confidence so investors can complete the investment process with ease and a sound understanding of AcreTrader’s land investment offerings will be of utmost importance.

This is an opportunity for an experienced leader with outstanding communication skills and an understanding of sales and business development to connect with, support, and aid investors in learning more about alternative asset classes. The ideal candidate is energized by the challenge of refining and innovating the function that delivers an exceptional client experience using a combination of product-driven enhancements and high-touch client servicing and is driven by both data and metrics to track and exceed targeted growth. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • You will lead, train, and scale our investor relations team to engage and educate investors, driving first-time investment conversions

  • You will establish continued engagement processes so clients return and build robust, diversified land portfolios on the Platform

  • You will build the data insight and metrics reporting processes to help forecast future investor demand 

  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues on the Product, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and Investment teams to target the most appropriate leads, facilitate steady investment activity, and ensure the smooth post-investment client experience

  • You will produce and deliver educational content for our investor community in the form of webinars and live events or conferences

  • You will mentor and develop an existing team of Investor Relations Associates to expand responsibilities and reinforce excellence in all client interactions 

  • You will build sales pipelines and processes within the Investor Relations team

  • You will proactively communicate AcreTrader financial results, expectations, and strategies adhering to FINRA guidelines and requirements 

  • You will stay current and be the expert voice on market fundamentals of equity markets, agriculture, and land investment industries 

Key Competencies:

  • 7+ years of experience interacting with the finance and investment community through equity, investment banking, or investor relations

  • Demonstrated experience in client relations with a focus on investment sales at a FINRA-registered firm

  • Experience successfully building, developing, and leading a team 

  • Professional experience in alternative investment products

  • Strong financial analysis, asset allocation, and investment management principles

  • Energized by high volumes of client interactions 

  • Active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, or ability to obtain within 60 days

  • Northwest Arkansas-based or willing to relocate to Northwest Arkansas (this is not a remote or hybrid position)
