Reporting to the CEO, the Administrative Director is responsible for optimizing and advising on the time and strategy of our Chief Executive Officer. This person will also play an integral role in representing the company in numerous external activities and with our key stakeholders, acting as a proxy for our executive team.
This is an opportunity for a candidate with an incredible and commanding presence to strategize, advise, and communicate the efforts of the Chief Executive Officer to our most important partners. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest and curiosity in agriculture, finance, and technology, and is ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
Core Responsibilities:
You will manage and utilize the CEO’s CRM database to set up investor tours, RIA meetings/dinners, conference events, and VC meetings
You will act as the external representative for the company, a proxy for the CEO with outside people, partners, etc.
You will proactively manage the CEO’s time, OKRs, and priorities through expert organization and upkeep of Asana boards
You will gatekeep and actively manage incoming and outgoing communication with the CEO
You will lead and manage events and fundraising processes
You will convey the CEO’s voice through expert writing
You will create, review and revise press releases, messaging, and communications from the CEO
You will create speech/presentation notes, PowerPoints, and talking points
You will travel, sometimes alongside the CEO to conferences and meetings as needed
Key Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or a similar field
5+ years of experience working as a Senior Executive Assistant, Executive Administrative Assistant, Chief of Staff, or other similar position
Significant experience in managing office procedures and working with sensitive corporate and personal information
Good practical experience with office management systems, Google Suite, MS Office, and Slack
Incredibly detail-oriented
Expert command of written and verbal communication
